5th Graders Kick Off the New Year with STEM Presentation

The fifth graders began year two of the STEM360 program. The program is through a grant received by the Virginia Air and Space Center and is a two year study of the effect that science, math, engineering, and technology exposure have on education. The program has afforded this group of students  four STEM field trips and receive four outreach programs each year of the two year program. September 21st, the program kicked off with our STEM coach, Mr. Parrish Crosby, doing in interactive presentation with students and families alike.  Nansemond Parkway is fortunate to be a part of this program and teachers and students alike have learned a great deal from the first year. We are very excited to see what year two holds!
