PUBLIC HEARING ON THE 2026/2027 OPERATING BUDGET

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Virginia Code Section 22.1-92 (1950), as amended, that the Suffolk City School Board will hold a public hearing on March 12, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 442 W Washington Street, for the purpose of hearing comments and recommendations concerning the Superintendent's Proposed Operating budget for Suffolk Public Schools for the 2026/2027 Fiscal Year.  Copies of the Fiscal 2026/2027 Superintendent's Proposed budget may be found at the School Administrative Offices, Public Libraries in Suffolk, and on the Suffolk Public Schools website at www.spsk12.net

Any person desiring to be heard, in favor of, in opposition to, or to express their views with respect to the aforesaid may be heard by said School Board on March 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
