Dear NPES Parents:
Our Annual Field Day will take place on Friday, May 5th. Our “rain date” is Wednesday, May 10th. We are planning a great day of excitement for our students as they will have the opportunity to participate in fun play “stations” throughout the day. To assist us with making our Annual Field Day a success, we are seeking parent volunteers to operate the “stations” as students rotate through them. For those who wish to volunteer, you have the option of operating a station all day, or certain parts of day, if you also wish to spend time with your own child(ren). However, volunteering to operate a station all day will make things run smoother. Check-in for parent volunteers will be from 9:10 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. in the gymnasium on the day of the event. At check-in you will receive instructions in regards to the station you will be operating and also a wrist band in order for you to eat lunch, provided by the school. Only those parents who volunteer to operate a station will be provided lunch by the school. There will be a school-wide common lunch period on this day which will be from 12:00 p.m. -12:40 p.m.
In conclusion, we are very excited about our Annual Field Day and look forward to having you participate. All volunteers are asked to wear our school colors. J
