Nansemond Parkway Elementary Welcomes MILITARY FAMILIES

Find additional information on the Suffolk Public School's Military Family Resources page, including what you need to do to prepare for your relocation and a connection to the Hampton Roads military family liaison program.

Welcome to Nansemond Parkway Elementary School

The staff at Nansemond Parkway Elementary looks forward to supporting your military connected children and family. It is with great pride and appreciation for all military families that we want to welcome you and build a supportive partnership. We have various ways to work together. Nansemond Parkway  has the Braves for the Brave student transition program which helps students to be happier, resilient, and more confident kids. Change is sometimes challenging, but this program helps kids to have the ability to bounce back from experiences like frequent moving, deployment, navigating a new school, and making friends. Contact Chanda Pittman, school counselor and military contact at (757) 923-4167.
Throughout the school year we are excited to honor our military connected students at Nansemond Parkway Elementary School!
