About Us

Nansemond Parkway Elementary School’s purpose is to challenge and guide all students to achieve higher levels of academic performance through its innovative teaching staff and strong parent volunteers. Fostering a safe and nurturing environment conducive to learning is the school’s driving force.

Contributing to the overall success of Nansemond Parkway are nine Partners-in-Education — Golden Corral, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Station No. 10, Lifetouch, United for Children, and the Suffolk Sheriff’s Office. This strong partnership program provides academic tutors, mentors for at-risk students, field trips, career day speakers, technological support, and special assembly programs.
